The global pandemic has provided organisations with the opportunity to reset the world of work – probably the greatest opportunity to do so in over a century. Returning to a sense of normality is on everybody’s mind, and what the workplace will look like going forward is starting to become clearer.

However, many commentators are now starting to talk about a new “war for talent”, created from a number of factors over the past 17 months, with recruitment and retention as the key battlegrounds.

The importance of EVP

Your Employee Value Proposition is at the heart of this battle. Which raises some important questions for all organisations, such as: What should we look for in our EVP? How should it have changed in response to the pandemic? What do we need to do to bring it up to scratch?

This Discovery Session is based on insight gathered from listening to our clients and to the organisations who have attended our previous events. It will explore:

  • Back to basics: what should an EVP look like?
  • Why is an EVP more important than ever?
  • What are the practical tools and processes involved in building or revisiting an EVP?
  • What is the current thinking, and what do we need to be mindful of considering our experiences over the past 17 months?
  • What are the links between EVP and our organisational culture, and how do we make them stronger?

Your hosts

Led by Ian Barrow, our Head of Culture and Change, this session will be particularly relevant to organisations currently exploring their opportunities around recruitment and Employee Value Proposition in a post-lockdown world, and will provide a forum for attendees to share their own views with a group of like-minded professionals.

Ian has over 20 years’ experience working with global organisations on culture change, internal communications and employee recruitment, engagement and experience. He has a passion for transforming organisations into more inspiring and effective places to work.
